Creature Name: Jeweled Tigers

General Description: Jeweled Tigers are medium (2 - 4 ft long) sized cats. They are scaled, and the stripes are jewels.

In their home land, they have been hunted. The jewels are prized by most royalty, and the hunters kill them for the money they bring. They only bond to those they know will not betray them to those who only want their jewels or the money they bring.

Kalanna Tigers

Kalanna Tigers are medium sized (about 2 feet long) tiger cats. They have long, luxurious hair - much like a Persians - that falls about halfway to the ground.

Their clans are matriarchal. They have a high queen and several lesser royals under them. They mate for life to any male they choose. As soon as they choose him, he becomes king. The highest born rank of males is prince.

Breeding:
Pregnancies depend on the female.
Queen: pregnant 3 times a year. Up to 16 cubs per litter.
Princess: Pregnant 3 times a year. up to 13 cubs.
Duchess: Pregnant 2 times a year. up to 9 cubs
Lesser female: pregnant once a year. up to 6 cubs.

Special Abilities:
All are telepathix when they want to be. They are very intelligent. They must bond soon after birth.

They are born 8 inches long.
They mature at about 2 feet long.
They are about 16 inches high at the shoulder at maturity.

Blondies

Blondies are cats that are the same size as normal housecats. They have long, silky fur that ranges from a nearly white platinum blonde to a dark honey blonde.
Females are highly empathic and telekinetic. They tend to bond one per person because more than one puts off too much strong emotion for one person to handle.
Males are strong telepaths, and moderate the females emotional output to a point. It takes about 5 males to completely dampen the emotions that the females broadcast.
There are no color traits, though females tend to be a bit more golden then blonde. Blondies hatch from greenish tinged eggs that are about the size of chicken eggs. It has been tradition for the eggs to be dyed like Easter eggs. This is done by the bond mate of the mother, and normally in the colors and designs of their area.

Breeding:
Females mate twice a year.
They are pregnant for 3 months.
Eggs are decorated within the first week after laying. If they aren't, they will remain the color they were when they wee lain.
There are 4 months between pregnancies.
Females lay between 5 and 20 eggs.
There are no sex linked traits.
Any pure white blondies that hatch of either gender are neuter.
Pure gold blondies that hatch of either gender are extremely rare.

Pysical Stats:
They hatch at about 4 inches long. When they dry out, they look like puff balls. After an hour or so, their fur starts to lay down.
They mature at 1 year of age.
They are about 1 foot long (from nose to tail tip) at maturity.
They have a normal amount of arms and legs.
Their fur is about 3 inches long all over and hangs about 2 inches off the ground.

Oddities:
They have to bond as soon as they hatch.
Their will be one female to every 5 males bonded to the same person.
THEY ARE DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO CAT NIP!

Special Abilities:
Females are empathic and telekinetic. Males are telepaths and have a dampering ability that allows them to control the level of emotion broadcast by the female.
Golds of either gender are:
telekinetic
telepathic
empathic, but they can also control it better than the normal females. They have an innate damper on their empathic abilities.

There are no naming restrictions.

Creature Name: Miniature Saber-Toothed Tigers

General Description: Miniature Saber-Toothed Tigers are much like their ancient ancestors, only much, much smaller. They also come in many varied colors, unlike their ancestors who were only shades of tawny to blend in with their environment.

Females are very protective of their litters, and must be separated during bonding. Males are in contact with females only to mate, otherwise they are loners. Males tend to bond to males, while females tend to bond to females. This is not, however, a strict rule.

While their ancestors were roughly the size of modern lions, these cats are about the size of a small terrier dog. They also have long tails, while the ancients had bob tails. Also unlike the ancients of the breed, these are truly tigers in that they have vertical stripes on their fur.

Creature Name: Snow Tigers

General Description: Snow Tigers are native to the poles of Orgunia. They have thick, soft fur and have been hunted for their pelts. They are about the size of a leopard, and have jewel toned eyes. Recently, the people that live in the poles have started studying the tigers instead of just hunting them, and the ranking and mating behaviors have been noted. Very few are allowed to bond out of each litter, and even fewer go off planet.

Additional Information:

Snow Tigers mate for life. The female will have only one litter per year. The cubs that do not bond will be raised by the family group until maturity. Family groups consist of one alpha pair and two ore three lesser pairs. The lesser pairs may not have as many litters as the alpha pair - often one every other year. The lesser pairs also assist in raising the young that do not bond.

The alpha pair are considered king and queen of the pard, or group. An established group will often show its alphas more respect, thus showing the humans who the alphas are. It has not been determined if the alphas are born with certain characteristics.
